LNFS Round 12 recap: Cartagena in a good form!

Spanish LNFS continued this weekend with all nine matches on the schedule!

Osasuna victorious against Cordoba

Osasuna and Cordoba opened the Round 12 of the Spanish elite LNFS. Thanks to an early own goal and a nice long effort by Jesulito, visiting Cordoba took the early lead. However, before half-time, Osasuna's Alves put his team back into the mix.

In the second half, thanks to goals by Gomez and da Silva Junior, Osasuna turned the match around and took an important 3-2 win for their playoff ambitions.

Jaen wins and sinks Antequerra to the bottom

Carlitos and Mithyue put the home Jaen in an early lead which they held until half-time.

Antequerra's Miguel put his team back into the mix with a goal in 29th minute, but Brandi, Michel, Gozi and Mancha all scored by the end of the match to give Jaen a big 6-1 victory that sees them escape the relegation zone.

Real Betis edge over Burela

In a very tight match that could have gone both ways, Real Betis won 2-1 against Burela.

Emilio Buendia put Betis in front in the middle of the first half.

By the middle of the second half, Burela strike back with a goal by Pitero and the match is leveled.

However, just a few minutes later, Eric Perez put Betis again into the 2-1 lead which the managed to hold until full-time. This win sees Betis into the playoff spots.

Inter misses out on a win against Zaragoza

After more than one month without a competitive futsal match due to Covid-19 reasons, Inter Movistar players finally got back on the court with five games behind.

And things did not start well for Inter. Zaragoza's Gascon put the home team in advantage just before half-time. Inter now had a hill to climb in order to get that much needed win.

However, they were unable to deliver. Lacovino equalized the match in 33rd minute, but Inter couldn't find the back of the net one more time and match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Cartagena confirm good form with a big away win

Jimbee Cartagena are currently team with the best form in the LNFS. With yesterday's victory at Santa Coloma, Cartagena is now 3rd in the league with 4 victories from last 5 matches.

Juanpi put the visiting Cartagena in the front in first minute of the match. Santa Coloma's Corso put his team in level few minutes later, but that was everything that Santa Coloma was able to do in front of Cartagena's goal.

By the end of the match, Fernandez added two and Andresito, Waltinho and Lucao added one goal each to make it 6-1 for Cartagena by full time.

O Parrulo shows teeth again

After a bad run, O Parrulo finally got on its feet. Two weeks ago they recorded their first win in this year's LNFS campaign, then last week they drew against Barcelona and finally this week they won again against Peniscola who fell into a winless streak.

These two teams played a proper exciting match that had 10 goals! Ique put O Parrulo in front by the middle of the first half. Dos Santos equalized in the same minute for visiting Peniscola, only for Martinez Vara to put O Parrulo again in front seconds before half-time.

Martinez Vara scored again immediately for the hosts who extended the lead. How fast things can turn in futsal is best depicted in next situation. In the space of three minutes, Peniscola scored three goals and completely turned the match around thanks to goals by Torres, Paniagua and Orzaez.

However, O Parrulo proved that they are not pushovers and with two goals by Thalles and one by Samartino Obarrio by the end of the match turned things around again and won with a nice 6-4 win.

Valdepenas found a way over Ribera Navarra

Struggling Ribera Navarra took the lead in the first half thanks to a goal by Sena Latorre. However, by the end of the first half we saw both teams push hard for the goal.

This resulted in Valdepenas' Santos equalizing the score in the 15th minute, visiting team's Minguez puting them ahead again in 17th minute, only for Santos again to equalize it in 18th minute.

In the second half, Prea put Valdepenas in the lead first time of the day and Chino confirmed the victory for Valdepenas seconds before full-time.

Two more games are on schedule today: Levante - Palma Futsal and reprise of the UEFA Futsal Champions League final: ElPozo Murcia - Barcelona.
