Sporting and Benfica secured convincing wins in Saturday's Liga Placard Futsal matches. Sporting crushed Belenenshes with 8:1 in a match in which guests scored three own goals! Erik Mendonça scored twice for Futsal Lions and Merlim, Paçó and Cavnato once.
Benfica defeated host team Quinta dos Lombos with 4:0. Fábio Cecílio scored the opener in 14 and the match was resolved in the last 6 minutes after Arthur scored once and Ivan Chishkala twice.
After 13 matches, Sporting and Benfica both have 12 victories and one draw from a mutual encounter.
