Although some negative rumors have been circulating lately with talks about the cancelation of the AFC Futsal Championship, the tournament's host Kuwait has published their preparation schedule for the competition - which will we take as a good omen!

AFC Futsal Championship is on schedule for the end of March and before that, Kuwait will play 8 matches with some of the best national teams from the Asian continent. This mini preparation cycle will begin in the last weeks of February and will end in mid-March, just before the AFC Futsal Championship.
Kuwait will start this preparation cycle with two matches against strong Uzbekistan (18 & 20 February). This will be followed with matches against the United Arab Emirates (25 February) and Oman (28 February), before another double-header against Bahrain (3 & 5 March).
The preparation cycle will finish with two matches against the nominally strongest team in Asia - Iran (10 & 12 March).
AFC Futsal Championship hosts Kuwait want to leave nothing to the chance.
