Catania stops champions, Aniene wins after four defeats

Three postponed matches were played yesterday in Italian Serie A. In the postponed match of the second round, Padova defeated Real San Giuseppe as a guest 8:3. Even though Mantova was a big favorite against Cybertel Aniene in the postponed match of the fourth round, guests won 3:2 and secured their first victory after four consecutive defeats.

After securing five points in the last three matches, Italian Champion Italservice Pesaro lost against Meta Catania Bricocity in Catania. Argentinian international Cristian Borruto scored the opener in 12', but Catania managed to turn the result by the end of halftime (Sanz 13' and Baldasso 17').

Canal scored at the beginning of the second half and equalized the result. However, Josiko (31') and Baldasso (36') with his second goal secured Catania's victory. The final result was put by Borruto in 40'.
