Žarko Luketin is the best Croatian player in 2020!

Žarko Luketin is the winner of the CROfutsal Trophy for the best Croatian player in 2020! Luketin won the trophy for the first time, after finishing second in 2015 and 2016 in the competition recognized by the Croatian Football Federation.

Luketin is a Croatia national team goalkeeper who plays for Croatian champion Olmissum form Omiš. Besides winning the Croatian title with Olmissum, Luketin won the Croatian Supercup and Croatian Cup in the last year. He was also one of Croatia's key figures in winning second place in the Elite round of the 2021 World Cup qualifiers. Due to injury, he did not play in two playoff matches against Czechia (even though he was on the squad's roster).

His teammate in Olmissum and Croatia Stjepan Perišić finished second with only one point less in the overall table, and the two-time winner Tihomir Novak finished third.
