Polish champions Record Bielsko-Biała hosted the UEFA Futsal Champions League match in Round of 32 against the Romanian champions United Galati.
It was the guests who took an early lead just after kick-off thanks to Daniel Araujo's effort. Few minutes later, Popławski equalized the score for Record. But, Poles were unable to hold the tie for long. The second goal by Daniel Araujo put them back once again as United Galati took the lead on the road once again.
However, just before half-time, Popławski joined Araujo with two goals on the tally. Thanks to their efforts, teams went to a break with 2-2 on the scoreboard.
Daniel Araujo did not stop at two, though. In the 32nd minute, he scored a hat-trick to put his team ahead for the third time this evening. A few minutes later, Araujo scored his fourth of the evening propelling United Galati among the best 16 teams in Europe!
Ignat scored for United Galati in the 36th minute to extend his team's lead, but just for good measure, Daniel Araujo scored his fifth goal of the evening in the dying moments of the match. Biel was able to soften the blow for Record before full time, but it was not enough. Record 3, United Galati 6!
