The domination of the two Portuguese futsal (and football) giants continues. In their 18th round matches, played on 19 and 20 January, Benfica defeated Futsal Azeméis 11:1, and Sporting was better against AD Fundão with 7:1.
In Benfica's match, only Afonso Jesus and Fits scored two goals, six more players scored one (Silvestre Ferreira, Hossein Tayebi, Rafael Henmi, Arthur, Jacaré and Thiago Brito).
League's top scorer Cardinal scored a hattrick for Sporting, and four more players scored one (Cavinato, Pauleta, Rocha, and Merlim).
After 18 matches, both Sporting and Benfica have 50 (out of 54) points. Sporting has scored 119 goals (more than 6 per match), and Benfica has scored 99 (5,5 per game).
