UEFA ruled against Norway: The Czech Republic won both qualifying matches!

UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) ruled against Norway national team which was not being able to travel to the Czech Republic for the two Euro 2022 Qualifying matches in Brno (Czechia). Both matches - the Czech Republic vs Norway 29 January 2021 and Norway vs the Czech Republic 1 February 2021 (Norway was official host, bit the match supposed to be played in Brno) were registered 5:0 for the Czech Republic since Norway was being responsible for the match not taking place (as provided for in Article 28.01 of the Regulations of the UEFA European Futsal Championship 2020-22).

The reason for not travelling in Czechia was, of course, Covid-19 disease.

Entire CEDB statement:

"In view of the confirmation by the Norwegian Football Association of not being able to travel to the Czech Republic, the two 2020-22 UEFA European Futsal Championship matches Czech Republic v Norway and Norway v Czech Republic, scheduled to be played on 29 January 2021 and 1 February 2021 in the Czech Republic, could not be played.

The matter was submitted to the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body for a decision.

Incidents: Refusal to play, Art. 28.01 Regulations of the UEFA European Futsal Championship 2020-22
