Mouvaux Lille MF holds the top in France

Round 15 of the French futsal Championnat D1 was played this weekend with the exception of ACCS who played their Champions League match against Barcelona.

Nevertheless, currently, undefeated Mouvaux Lille MF recorded another victory, having a fantastic record of 14 victories and 1 draw in this season.

A strong Lille team is filled with international players with significant experience, such as Fumaça (Kairat Almaty, Gyor, Kherson, Pato), Guina (Minas, Joinville), Gonzalo Galán (Peñíscola), and Edgar Varela (Sporting). They are joined with a number of home-grown players such as Kevin Ramirez (ACCS) and goalkeeper Joévin Durot (Charleroi). It seems that coach Beto Aranha, who had successful stints with ElPozo Murcia, Sporting, Benfica, and Tyumen in the history, found that perfect mix that makes his team play with confidence.

This was confirmed in their last match this weekend when they defeated Sporting de Paris 3-1, away from home.

Edgar Varela put Lille in front at the beginning of the match, but Boulaye Ba equalized for Sporting de Paris just before half-time.

Peterson dos Reis scored an own goal at the start of the second half to give another lead to the visiting Lille team. The victory was only confirmed by Lille's goalkeeper Joévin Durot in the 38th minute.

This victory sees Lille still hold the top of the division, with ACCS having 7 points less, with two games less, as well. Lille's next challenge is relegation strugglers Béthune Futsal.
