A fantastic match was on schedule yesterday as Inter Movistar hosted Barça in Round 22 of the Spanish LNFS. The spectacular match showed the whole beauty of our sport and ended in a 3-3 draw. Osasuna Magna Xota and Real Betis also drew, 2-2, and Cordoba Patriomonia won 2-0 at home against Peniscola FS.
Inter Movistar 3-3 Barça
Matheus put visiting Barça in the lead in the 8th minute after an awkward situation in Inter's box. However, in the space of just a few seconds, in the last minute of the first half, Inter turned things around thanks to nice goals by Cecilio and Borja.
In the second half, Tripodi extended the Inter's lead. But, in the closing stages of the match, Daniel and Ferrao equalized for Barça, proving once again that futsal is the best sport on Earth.
Osasuna Magna Xota 2-2 Real Betis
Another exciting draw was on schedule in Round 22 of the Spanish LNFS. Visiting Real Betis took the lead in the 13th minute thanks to a goal by Ruben Cornejo and Betis took this lead to the break.
In the second half, Osasuna turned things around with goals by Mancuso and Zurdo. In futsal - it is never over until it's over. This was proven once again with a very late equalizer by Emilio Buendia and these two teams also split the points.
Cordoba Patrimonio 2-0 Peniscola FS
Cordoba recorded an important win against Peniscola with one goal in each half. Lucas Perin put the home team in front in the second half, and Zequi only confirmed the victory in the late second half.
Jimbee Cartagena 5-4 Palma Futsal
A very exciting match was played in Cartagena where the home team took a very important victory in a duel for the first position on the league table.
Vilela put Palma Futsal in front at the beginning of the match, only for Croatian international Dario Marinović to equalize the score for Cartagena.
Waltinho then scored a penalty for Cartagena to put his team in front. However, Higor and Lolo turned this around quite fast and Palma Futsal found themselves in front once again. Nevertheless, Bebe equalized this exciting match just before half-time.
In the second half, Tomaz put Palma in front for the third time today. But Cartagena took advantage that Marlon received a red card, and during a powerplay situation equalized thanks to an effort by Solano.
With his second goal of the day, Bebe finished the match favorably for the hosts and Cartagena now sits at the top of the LNFS - at least for a while.
