Italy qualified for Euro 2022 after defeating Belgium, convincing victory for Serbia

In Group 4 of EURO 2022 qualifiers, North Macedonia lost in Skopje against neighboring Serbia 1:6. North Macedonia's Dragan Petrović scored an own goal in the 13th minute, Strahinja Petrov made it 1-3 in the 15th minute, and Jovan Lazarević scored the last goal of the half a minute later. Lazarević had a great chance to score another but missed his penalty in the 18th minute.

This big win takes Serbia from fourth to second, just behind Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania. North Macedonia dropped to the bottom of the group, and it will be hard to climb back with their next opponent being Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 8th of April. Serbia will play a day later against Romania.

The top two times squared off in Group 7 when Italy took on Belgium in Prato, with the Italians coming out victorious (4:1) and secured qualification for Euro 2022.
