In a Czech derby, Era-Pack Chrudim defeated Sparta in Prague 2:0 and remained in the second position with the same amount of points as SK Interobal Plzen, which has a better goal difference. A few days ago, Sparta defeated Interobal Plzen 4:0 and inflicted their first defeat in the season. However, Sparta lost against Plezn after four consecutive wins and remained in the fourth position with 11 points (and one match) less than the leading Plzen and Chrudim.
In yesterday's derby match, Pavel Drozd scored both goals for Chrudim, one in each half.
There are two more rounds before the end of the regular part of the season, after which the best eight teams will play playoffs.
