SPAIN: Cartagena scored seven, Palma secured an important late victory, Navarra shocked Inter! (HIGHLIGHTS)

Four games of the 27th round in Primera Division de Futsal in Spain were played yesterday, one today, and one (Barca vs Levante) is yet to be played. 

With only seven games left to the end of the regular season, there were no surprises in yesterday's games, but Ribera Navarra shocked Inter in today's match.

Let's start with matches played on Saturday. 

Palma Futsal - Osasuna Magna Xota 5:4

In the first game of the day, Palma Futsal beat Osasuna Magna Xota 5-4. The scoring was opened early in the 5th minute when Osasunas' goalkeeper Asier scored an own goal to give Palma the lead. Palma doubled their lead in the 13th minute through their Brazillian pivot Higor, but only a minute later, Osasunas' Brazillian Wanderson scored his first of the game to make it 2-1. Just before half-time, Joao scored and made it 3-1 for Osasuna to take to the break.

Osasuna was brilliant, scoring three goals in the first six minutes of the second half, and they came from 3-1 down to 3-4. Linhares scored in the 23rd minute, Wanderson added his second in the 24th, while Fabinho joined the scoresheet in the 26th minute. Just a minute later, Higor found the target for his second and a 4-4 scoreline. With just 8 seconds on the clock, heartbreak came for Osasuna. Attacking with 5 players, after two saves from AsierRaul Campos scored the rebound for the victory 5-4. This win keeps Palma second and in a very comfortable position for the playoffs, while Osasuna is in eleventh will have to work hard to get in with seven games remaining.

Jimbee Cartagena - Futbol Emotion Zaragoza 7:0

The second game of the day wasn't in any sense as exciting as the previous one. The home-side Jimbee Cartagena scored seven and conceded none against ninth-placed Futbol Emotion Zaragoza. Just two points away and with a game in hand on Real Betis more was expected from them in this game. This win pushed Jimbee to third place, but they two games more than fourth-placed Inter, who are just one point behind. 

Jimbee started early with Bebe and Dario Marinović, who scored in the 6th and 7th minute to put their team 2-0 up. They were relentless and scored three more before the half. Waltinho added two and Avellino another. Waltinho had a chance to score his hattrick in the 23rd minute, but he missed a penalty. With a big lead of 5-0, the winner was settled. Zaragoza couldn't find a consolation goal, and they even let another two goals in the last two minutes. Avellino scored his second while Waltinho got his hattrick in the final minute of the game. Waltinho had a chance to score his hattrick in the 23rd minute, but he missed a penalty. 

Peninscola - Industrias Santa Coloma 2:2

A rare game of futsal with no second-half goals was played in Peniscola, Spain. The home-side Peniscola FS hosted Industrias Santa Coloma and the game finished 2-2. Currently fighting for survival, Peniscola scored first through Francisco Paniagua in the 5th minute. Tenth placed Santa Coloma leveled the game immediately through David AlvarezLuciano Gauna brought the lead back to Peniscola in the ninth minute. The final score was put on in the 17th minute when Slovakia's national team player Tomas Drahovsky scored. 

BeSoccer CD UMA Antequera - O Parrulo Ferol 3:5

The last game of the day brought as another thriller game in Malaga. BeSoccer CD UMA Antequera hosted last placed O Parrulo Ferol and lost 3-5 in a tight game of futsal. The last two placed teams of the league are both in a hard position and it will be hard for them to crawl out of the relegation zone.

Helder Goncalves and Domingos Xavier opened the game for Ferol scoring in the first five minutes to give the visitors a 0-2 lead. In terms of goals, that was all she wrote in the first half. Early in the first half, Kevin Chis scored to make 0-3, but Antequera replied in the same 26th minute with a goal from Joaki. Miguel Munoz and Adrian Martinez ended the contest scoring in the 27th and 34th minute and making it 1-5 to Ferol. The home-side tried to come back and scored two more, but that wasn't enough. Thalles scored an own goal in the 35th minute and Alex Fuentes made it 3-5 in the 39th minute.

Riberra Navarra - Inter 5:4

In today's match, 14th placed Roberra Navarra shocked Spanish champions and Supercup winner mighty Inter Movistar. Riberra Navarra opened the match terrific, with two goals in the first two minutes of the match after Gabriel Vasques and David (penalty) scored. However, Inter managed to equalize until halftime with Saldise's (7') and Martel's (16') goals. ž

Terry scored Navarra's third in 26', and Nil put the fourth in Inter's net. Everything was over in 39' when Miguez scored for Navarra's 5:2 lead. In the last minute Borja and Cecilio managed just to reduce the home team's victory.

The last match of today will be played between sixth Barça and leading Levante at 17:00 CET.
