Imperial Wet won their second Romanian futsal championship after defeating the champion from 2020 United Galati 3-1 in the final series. The last match, played on Sunday, was decided after penalties.
The first half ended 1:1, the result after a regular time was 3:3, and there were no goals in overtime. Imperial's players scored seven on a penalty shootout, and Galati's players six. Therefore, Imperial won a championship and will play UEFA Futsal Champions League next season.
Imperial Wet's scorers in the last match of the finals were Crisan (11') and Araujo (23' and 33').
