For the 11th time in their history, Peñarol has been crowned champions of the Uruguayan futsal championship!
In the final of the Uruguayan futsal championship, Peñarol defeated Rio Branco with an 8-4 victory.
Agustín Sosa scored three goals in the match, while Maximiliano Navarro, Juan Custodio, Brandon Díaz, Nicolás Martínez and Fabián Hernández all scored one each for the Black-and-Yellow team from Montevideo.
Peñarol remained undefeated through the campaign, with a record of 30 matches undefeated.
