Dominant Turkey and character French

The second day of the Futsal Week Winter Cup U19 way held yesterday in Poreč, Croatia. Both matches were effective, in the first duel France defeated Hungary 5:3, although Hungary led 3:0, with two goals of Zoltan Szalmas. The French equalized until the end of the first half and Rahane Kandoussi and Sofiane Alla scored in the second half for the win.

"Yesterday's match was very frustrating, We worked a lot on video analysis, and applied everything that we were talking about. Only together we had a successful bounceback after the 3:0 down. We are playing next against two very big teams, and it will be interesting to watch! Match between us and Belgium will be something special for me because I played a lot of matches in Belgium. We know very well each other," said France captain Selim Meziani

The second match started interestingly, Turkey opened the series of goals after Mustafa Varlik Gurkan scored, but Slovenia turned the results over with the goals of Žiga Knežević Mrak and Miha Car. Then Turkey scored four goals in a row for the 5:2 advantage. Davor Stanišić gave Slovenia the hope for return after scoring in the 29th minute, but the Turks were ruthless, scored four more goals and defeated Slovenia 9:3. The most effective player was Berkan Mahmut Keskin scoring hat-trick, and Mustafa Uysal and Anil Ozcelik scored twice.

"Yesterday's last-minute goal against France was very motivational, and one of the reasons why we played against Slovenia so well. We are very happy with this huge win against Slovenia. We came here to win the tournament, we believe we can win, and we will do whatever we have to do to win it!", said three-time goal-scorer.
