The Czech Republic defeated Romania 4:0 in Brno and came close to promoting for the World Cup. In the last leg (5th February) Czech needs a point against Kazakhstan to secure Futsal Mundial, but they can also qualify even if they lose with not a big goal-difference and if Romania defeats Slovenia (that would mean that three nations – the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Romania – would have 6 points).
In the second match, Kazakhstan led after the first 20 minutes with Akbalikov scoring, but Slovenia turned the result. They had leads of 2:1 and 3:2, but Kazakhstan eventually turned the result and secured a win with the late goals of Leo (38') and Tursagulov (40').
Today we will find who will qualify for the World Cup from Group B and who will play against Finland in playoffs after the match between host Serbia and Spain. Serbia has better goal-difference and they would fit with a draw.
