The last day of the European qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup was held yesterday. Romania has calculated and lost the advantage of three goals in the last two minutes of their match against Slovenia. The match eventually ended a draw (4:4), so Romania needed a draw or a Czech victory in their last match against Kazakhstan.
But European-Asian country won 5:2, with a hattrick of Douglas Junior, and become the fifth European nation that has qualified for the Futsal World Cup.
The remaining four are Lithuania (hosts), Portugal, Spain, and Russia.
In the playoffs, that will be held on the 9th and 12th of April, Croatia will face the Czech Republic, and Serbia will face Finland.
