Geographically situated in Asia, Kazakhstan is one of the nations that is participating under the patronage of UEFA. Under the guidance of Brazilian coach Kaka and naturalized Brazilians such as Higuita, Douglas Junior and Taynan, Kazakhstan's national futsal stream reached the Euro semifinals on the last two occasions, winning the bronze medal at Euro 2016.
