Corinthians secures semifinal in the Brazilian LNF

The Super Cup winners won again! After the first match that ended in a 2-2 draw, Corinthians were able to win 3-2 away against Carlos Barbosa (ACBF). With this result, Corinthians now progresses to the LNF semifinal and match against Joinville.

At the beginning of the match, Carlos Barbosa struck first. Pesk received a ball at the goal line, a chance he couldn't miss and put the ACBF in front. By the middle of the first half, Corinthians equalized thanks to a great and powerful free-kick shot from around 15 meters by Murilo.

Before half-time, Corinthians managed to take the lead! A shot got deflected from ACBF's defender, ball tricked the goalkeeper and find its way into the back of the net for Corinthians' lead at the half-time.

Thirty seconds into the second half, ACBF were awarded a penalty. Fernando had no trouble with scoring the equalizing goal.

In the same minute, an incredible individual effort by Murilo who dribbled through two defenders and then placed a beautiful shot in the top left corner of the goal for another Corinthians' lead in the match and what will later be confirmed as the final result of the match, 3-2 for Corinthians!

By the end of the match, ACBF were unable to score and Corinthians will play Joinville in LNF's semifinal on Sunday (13:15 local time).
