After winning Supercopa de España in September 2019, Copa de España in March 2020 and UEFA Futsal Champions League in October 2020, Barcelona won their fourth trophy in 2019/20 season. The postponed semifinal and final match of Copa del Rey for 2019/20 season were played on 19 and 20 December 2020. After defeating Real Betis on Saturday, Barça defeated Jaén on Sunday 2:1 and won their record seventh Copa del Rey (third in a row) and fourth title of the season.
Alan Brandi scored the opener for Jaén in 14, but Esquerdinha managed to equalize 15 seconds later! Barça was a better team on the court and managed to secure the win after Esquedinha scored his second goal from a stunning volley.
Besides Barça's coach Andreu Plaza three Futsal Blaugrana's players (Sergio Lozano, Dyego and Ferrao) are nominated for the FutsalFeed Best Team of 2020 Awads (vote HERE).
