FutsalPlanet.com introduced the European Futsal Golden Shoe award that will be named after Konstantin Viktorovich Yeryomenko (Eremenko), who unfortunately died on 18 March 2010 when he was only 39. Eremenko was voted as the best Russian player on 7 occasions, won the European championship in 1999 and three more medals in major competitions (one silver and two bronze).
With his club, Dina Moscow Eremenko won three Futsal European Club Championship and lots of domestic trophies.
It is not yet know how the criteria for the Award will be determined.
