Copa Libertadores de Futsal has been postponed for two weeks. The South American tournament was supposed to start on the 1st of May, but it has been pushed to the 15th of May due to COVID-19, announced CONMEBOL in their official statement.

Twelve teams will take part in this week-long championship to determine the best South American mens' futsal team.
Last years' edition was canceled due to the pandemic, so this year will mark the 20th edition of the tournament (The tournament wasn't held in 2012 either).
The tournament will be played in the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo.
Brazilian teams dominate Copa Libertadores, and only once the club from the biggest South American country didn't win the competition.
Paraguays' Cerro Porteno won it in 2016, beating six-time champions Jarauga. Carlos Barbosa won one title more than Jaragua (seven), while Sorocaba, Atlantico, Intelli, Banespa and Internacional all won it once.
