In two back-to-back matches, Norilsky Nickel defeated Gazprom Yugra in both matches of the Russian Superleague. Norilsky Nickel defeated current Russian Cup winner 4:2 in the first match and 3:1 in the second match played yesterday. NN's hero was Barbosa do Prado Rod who scored three out of seven Norilsky Nickel's goals in these two matches. Orlov, Cesar, Alubekov and Konovalov scored one for the home team, and Ponkratov, Katata and Vilian scored for the Yugra.
With six new points, Norilsky Nickel remained in second place with one point less but two matches more than the leading Sinara Yekaterinburg. Gazprom Yugra (current vice-champion) is sixth with 18 points and two matches less than NN.
