With two goals in the first ten minutes of the match, Marko Radovanović put KMF FON in front. By the end of the first half, the result didn't change and the Belgrade team could enjoy a lead at the break.

KMF Novi Pazar pushed in the second half in the hope to turn things around. It seemed that they just might do it when Milan Mutavdžić scored to put Novi Pazar back into the mix.

Novi Pazar will rue their missed chances as Aleksandar Pavlović extended the lead for KMF FON, putting them back on the 2-goals margin.

KMF FON also survived a powerplay situation, and upon successfully defending their goal, lifted the first Cup trophy in the club's history.
