(HIGHLIGHTS) Meta Catania shocks Acqua e Sapone, Pesaro through to the semifinal

Number one seed in the Italian Futsal Seria A playoffs, Italservice Pesaro are through to the semifinal after they have defeated 8-3 CMB in the deciding match of the quarterfinal series. Meta Catania has caused a bit of an upset as they have knocked out the number two seed Acqua e Sapone after turning the match around in the second half.

With eight goals in CMB's net, Italservice Pesaro secured their spot in the league semifinal. CMB held for 15 minutes, but after that, it was just downhill from there. Julio Miotti de Oliveira, Cristian Borruto, and Mauro Canal scored two for the hosts, with Marcelo Padilha Marcelinho and Felipe Tonidandel adding their name to the scoresheet. 

Dejan Bizjak, Ramon Bueno Ardite, and Andrès Santos scored for CMB to end their season.

Meta Catania has done it! They have caused an upset against one of the league favorites and they turned around yesterday's match and the whole series after starting with a loss.

Goncalves Misael scored for Acqua e Sapone in the first half and everything seemed to be going on course for the hosts. However, in the second half, Venancio Cini Baldosso scored two goals in space of one minute for a complete Catania turnaround.

The team from Sicily held on until the end and secured a spot in the semifinal!
