In a close encounter, the UAE team showed good form and quality against favored Egyptians. Despite Egypt's pressure, the UAE is the one to score first. With two goals in the last two minutes of the first half, Egypt managed to turn things around.

With less than 6 minutes left on the clock, Egypt extended their lead. The UAE team then started to push with a 'flying goalkeeper' and managed to score almost immediately after to get back into the mix. A few minutes later, UAE equalized and we were in for a proper futsal finish as the match went into extra time.

Egyptians proved to be more of a match in the extra time and a late goal celebrated their progress to the tournament final.

In the other semifinal duel, there was no drama whatsoever. A favored Moroccan team, that has been playing quite well in recent years, has defeated Bahrain with a big 6-0 result.

Hosts Egypt and Morocco will face off in the tournament final later today (18:00 local time).
