Spain: Barça victorious against Inter for the LNFS semifinal

In the last quarterfinal match of the Spanish LNFS, Barça was victorious against Inter to secure the place in the semifinals. But in truth, it was a wild match that saw seven goals, missed opportunities, four red cards, and plenty of action.

The semifinal duels are on the schedule this Saturday. Levante UD FS will face Viña Albali Valdepeñas and the match starts at 18:30 local time. At 20:30 on the same day, Palma Futsal will host Barça in their first semifinal match-up.

Barça 5-2 Inter FS

Things started quite well for Inter, as Pola scored for the lead in the very first minute of the match. That meant that Barça has to push even more and their efforts were rewarded by halftime because they scored two goals and turned the match around. Andre Coelho and Aicardo were the scorers.

In the second half, things started to get heated up. Adolfo was given a red card and this situation was immediately punished by Dani Saldise who equalized for Inter.

A few minutes later, Daniel and Barça's head coach Andreu Plaza also got sent off! But this time around, Barça's Matheus was the one scoring the goal and putting his team in front once again.

As the match progressed toward the end, Inter's Eric Martel got sent off by the referee. This was immediately punished by Matheus who scored to extend Barça's lead. By the end of the match, Marcenio scored one more to confirm Barça's victory and a berth in the semifinal.
