Brazil: Furious first half was enough for Magnus to secure a victory against Corinthians

Brazilian LNF continued yesterday with a match between two of the best teams in the country. Corinthians hosted Magnus in their first league duel this season and thanks to a furious first half, Magnus reached an advantage they did not let go of by the end of the match.

Pedrinho opened the scoring for Magnus before the end of the first minute of the match. In 9' Sinoê scored to extend Magnus' lead, but just a few minutes later Fernandinho scored to keep Corinthians in the mix.

However, in the same minute and in a space of less than 20 seconds, Charuto and Leandro Lino created a new advantage for Magnus. In 16' Guilhermão managed to score for Corinthians to keep his team on track, but a furious first half for Magnus was completed with a goal by Ricardinho in 18'.

The Magnus goal-scoring machine was stopped in the second half, but a good defense did not allow Corinthians to scrape anything from this match.

Marcelo scored two goals for the home side to keep this match exciting up until the very end, but it was Magnus who celebrated a new victory and who is yet undefeated.
