In the fourth match of the final series, Sporting CP has defeated Benfica for the third victory in the series which clinched a national title for the Lisbon Green and White.
This success concluded an amazing success by Sporting CP. They have started their 2020/2021 season with a victory in the Super Cup against Benfica in August of 2020. In late December, they have won Taca de Portugal against Braga.
In March of 2021, Sporting won Taca de Liga against Benfica. In April, Sporting won the UEFA Futsal Champions League and their perfect season was completed with a victory against Benfica in the Portuguese futsal championship.
