The Lions of the Atlas qualified for their third consecutive FIFA Futsal World Cup in a fantastic fashion. First, they won the 2020 African Futsal Cup of Nations, recording all victories in the process and conceding only one goal. Second, Morocco won the 2021 Arab Futsal Cup again recording all victories and conceding just two goals. Morocco was particularly impressive in the later stages of the tournament. They have a hard group in the Futsal World Cup, but Morocco is looking more than ready to record their first victory on the big stage and maybe even get to the next round.
