The reborn American futsal team is back at the biggest stage. Appearing in Lithuania will be their sixth FIFA Futsal World Cup, but the first one after Brazil in 2008. The history of the Futsal World Cup can't be told without mentioning a strong American generation that saw them win bronze and silver medals at the first two Futsal World Cups ever held. However, they have been struggling lately. But Head Coach Dušan Jakica managed to transform United States into a serious and competitive team which they proved with an excellent performance in CONCACAF Futsal Championship.
