In the shadow of the UEFA Futsal Champions League Final tournament, which will be held from 28 April to 3 May in Zadar, Croatia, Futsal Copa Libertadores 2021 Uruguay was held yesterday.

12 South American teams were divided into three groups which will be played from 15 to 22 May in "futsal cradle" Uruguay!

The 2020 edition was canceled due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Brazil will have two representatives, 2019 Copa Libertadores winner Carlos Barbosa and recent Brazilian Supercup winner Corinthians.
Hosts will also have two representatives - futsal sections of two famous football clubs Peñarol and Nacional.
San Lorenzo will represent Argentina, Proyecto Latin will represent Bolivia, Universitad de Chile Chile, Alianza Platerna Columbia, Sportivo Bocca Ecuador, Cerro Porteño (vice-champion) Paraguay, Universitario Peru and Delta te Quiero Venezuela.
