Sinara, the number one seed in these playoffs, recorded two safe victories against Torpedo. The first match ended in a dominant 8-0 victory for Sinara, while the second match ended in a 3-1 victory.
KPRF 2-0 Gazprom-UGRA
As predicted, KPRF and Ugra played two very tight and close matches. KPRF managed to find a way to win in both games, having won the first one 3-1, while securing the second victory only in the last minute of the extra-time.
Norilsk Nickel 2-0 Novaya Generaciya Syktyvkar
With a fine display and nice 4-1 and 5-3 victories, Norilsk Nickel secured a 2-0 lead in the quarterfinal series. Can this team, that some dub as title contenders, and who has finished second in the league stage of the season, go all the way?
Tyumen 2-0 Dynamo Samara
Tyumen players showed great composure as they managed to defeat a motivated Dynamo Samara team two times in two days. Their first duel finished in Tyumen's 3-1 victory, while the second one finished 3-0 for the home side.
