Despite being a goalless draw, it was an interesting match with both teams having goal-scoring opportunities. The stars of the match were two goalkeepers, Hussein Hamdani for Lebanon and Ho Van Y for Vietnam.

Thailand has almost booked a ticket to Lithuania, but the Vietnam-Lebanon 0-0 draw was so cautious & conservative that match #2 defies prediction.

The winner of this duel will join Iran, Japan, Uzbekistan, and a winner of the Thailand - Iraq match-up, at the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Vietnam can book their place there even with a draw, as they have officially been hosts in yesterday's match.
The return leg is on the schedule for tomorrow (25 May), when both matches will be played and we will finally get our Asian travelers for the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
