To secure promotion to the First Division, Manzanares had to go through a lot of trouble. In the first phase of the league championship, they finished third in a group of nine teams, which secured them a berth in the next phase.
In the next phase, in a group of eight teams, Manzanares FS finished second, securing a place in the Second Division promotion playoffs.

Once there, Manzanares FS defeated Unión África Ceutí in the playoff semifinal. Manzanares won 2-1 and 3-2, progressing to the final with a clean series.
In the final, Manzanares FS faced El Ejido Futsal who has eliminated Noia in the semifinal. Throughout the championship, Noia was positioned first in all groups that they have played, making this El Ejido's success more remarkable.

El Ejido has won the first match that was played in their venue, recording a 3-2 victory. In the second match, Manzanares FS secured a victory, but only after penalties, and only after equalizing in the last seconds of the regular time.
The third match didn't lack excitement as well. It ended in a 2-1 victory for Manzanares. The final score was set in the first half, meaning that the second half of the final match was quite intense.

There is a bit more excitement left before we conclude the Second Division for this season. The second finalist, El Ejido Futsal will face 15th team of the First Division, Burela FS. The winner of this duel will secure a place in the First Division for the next season.
