Barça 2-5 Inter FS

Many futsal pundits were keeping a close eye on this classic match that went in Inter's favor. And it all started quite well for the Madrid team. Cecilio scored in the first minute to give his team an advantage.

Adolfo equalized a few minutes later, but Barça was unable to stop Eric Martel from scoring Inter's second goal around the middle of the first half. Nevertheless, Adolfo scored his second of the evening to level the match before halftime.

In the second half, however, it was quite a contest between the two teams as we waited for the first goal until 38' when Pito scored a crucial goal to put Inter ahead.

Barça immediately responded with an extra man in the court, but that resulted in two goals in the dying moments of the match, courtesy of Cecilio and Pola.

The rematch is on schedule this Sunday.

Palma Futsal 8-2 Futbol Emotion Zaragoza

Palma Futsal recorded a big victory against Zaragoza to open their quarterfinal matchup. It took ten minutes for Palma players to break through Zaragoza's defenses, but D. Nunes and Marlon opened the scoring.

Before the break, Zaragoza was able to get back in the mix, thanks to an effort by Javi Alonso.

However, in the second half Palma Futsal added more fuel and in the space of 10 minutes scored three goals that saw them break away ahead. Higor, Hamza, and Claudino were the scorers. Juanqi softened the blow for Zaragoza but that was all they managed to scrape from this match.

By the end of the match, Lolo, Hamza, and Cléber further extended Palma's lead.

ElPozo Murcia Costa Calida 4-3 Viña Albali Valdepeñas

An interesting quarterfinal match was played between league runners ElPozo Murcia and last season's finalists Valdepeñas.

ElPozo Murcia took the lead by the middle of the first half thanks to two quick goals by Leo Santana and Pol Pacheco. A lead they took to the break.

By the middle of the second half, Pol Pacheco scored his second of the evening, putting his team in a decent advantage. However, immediately after this, Catela scored for Valdepeñas and a few minutes later he did it again to put Valdepeñas back in the mix.

Their attacking efforts were not awarded however when Paradynski scored on an empty net 20 seconds before full time, effectively confirming ElPozo Murcia's victory. Alex Garcia scored for Valdepeñas just before the final whistle.

Jimbee Cartagena 1-5 Levante UD

Levante recorded a big and important victory while traveling to play Jimbee Cartagena. They are in a prime position to secure a semifinal berth if they manage to win again at home.

The only goal in the first half was an effort by Roger who put Levante in front. By the middle of the second half, Levante scored a few more unanswered goals. Rafa Usin, Pedro Toro, and Esteban showcased their skills for a significant Levante lead.

Only then did Waltinho scored for Cartagena who will be looking to leave this match behind them as fast as possible. In the dying moments of the match, Rivillos scored Levante's fifth goal of the evening.

Except for the before-mentioned clash between Inter and Barca that will take place on Sunday, the rest of the return matches are on the schedule this Saturday. So be sure to tune in and follow the LNFS playoff on FutsalFeed.com!
