The Portuguese futsal championship also reached its final stage. For the fourteenth time in history, the final series is contested between Sporting CP and Benfica. Sporting took the lead in the final series.

The final series began this Thursday and Sporting CP recorded the first victory.
In the 4', Pany Varela opened the scoring and brought the lead to Sporting CP. A few minutes later, Rafael Henmi equalized for Benfica.
However, just before half-time, Zicky Te scored for another Sporting's lead to put his team in front at the half-time.
In the second half, Sporting's victory was confirmed by Diego Cavinato's goal in the 25'.
Sporting now has the lead in the final series and the first team to reach three victories will be crowned futsal champions of Portugal. The next match is on 6 June.
