Italy: Pesaro and Came Dosson open the Final Four tournament with victories

Due to reasons that are connected with the pandemic, the Italian Futsal Seria A playoff will be decided in a Final Four tournament in Pesaro, after a regular futsal playoff quarterfinal series.

However, teams will play two matches against each other on a neutral venue with an away goal rule in place.

Came Dosson 2-1 Meta Catania Bricocity

Came Dosson recorded an advantage against Meta Catania yesterday with a 2-1 victory. Came Dosson's Thiago Grippi opened the scoring in 11' of the match.

Catania's Giovanni Messina equalized in 19', just before the halftime. After the break, both teams pushed for the second goal, but Came Dosson's Murilo Schiochet was the only scorer in 28'.

The return leg will be played today (18 June).

Italservice Pesaro 4-1 Feldi Eboli

The defending champions were victorious in the first match against Feldi Eboli as they recorded a nice 4-1 victory that puts them in a great position for the return leg.

The start of the match was furious as already in 19th second Mauro Canal brought advantage to Pesaro. Feldi Eboli was quick to respond through Gabriel Grello who scored almost immediately after.

But by the middle of the half, Pesaro scored two goals that saw them break away a bit. Javier Adolfo Salas scored in 7' and Julio Miotti de Oliveira scored in 11'.

In 27', Cristian Borruto extended Pesaro's lead to the final score of 4-1. The return leg is also played later today (18 June).
