(HIGHLIGHTS) Women's Euro: Slovakia punches through the Preliminary round

The third day of the Preliminary qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Futsal Euro saw two blow-out victories by Slovakia and Serbia. Slovakia defeated the Northern Ireland's team 8-0 and progresses through the Main qualifying round. Serbia defeated the group hosts Lithuania with a big 10-1 victory, but it did not help them pass the Preliminary round.

Northern Ireland 0-8 Slovakia

Slovakian ladies confirmed their top position in the Preliminary qualifying round Group A with a flawless victory against Northern Ireland that sees them push through to the Main qualifying round.

Slovakia now joined Spain, Italy, and hosts Sweden in the Main qualifying round Group 4. Matches are on schedule from 19 to 22 October.

Coming back to the match against Northern Ireland, Rybanská was in top form scoring a hat-trick. She was joined on the scoresheet by Tyčiaková, Baniková, Kucharčíková, Macková, and Valová. Congratulations on this success!

Lithuania 1-10 Serbia

Despite a huge victory and a fighting mentality which Serbian ladies showed until the very last second, they are left empty-handed and finish their Preliminary qualifying round in second place in Group A.

Batinić was in superb form scoring five goals for Serbia against the group hosts Lithuania, who conclude their campaign in the last place. Trišić scored a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Malijar and Čolić.

Belgium qualified to the Main qualifying round from Group C, after defeating Gibraltar and after Kazakhstan canceled its participation in the qualifiers.

They will play in the Main qualifying round Group 3 against Ukraine (hosts), Finland, and the Czech Republic. Matches are on schedule from 19 to 22 October.

The only other Preliminary qualifying round group that still hasn't seen any matches is Group B. Hosts Moldova are joined by Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, and the Netherlands. Matches are on schedule from 16 to 19 August.
