The 2020/21 UEFA Futsal Champions League Round of 16 is ahead of us! Before we get into details of the next round, a big round-up of this weekend's Futsal Champions League match-ups is in order. It all started this Friday with a convincing Barcelona 9-2 win against Prishtina. 15 more matches were played on Saturday and some of them were proper futsal delicacies!

Friday 15 January
Barça (SPA) 9-2 FC Prishtina (KOS) (REPORT)
In the first match of 2020/21, UEFA Champions League Round 32 Barça defeated Kosovo's champion Prishtina at Palau Blaugrana with convincing 9:2. In their historic match against European champions, Prishtina defended well until the 12th minute when Dyego Zuffo scored an opener. The rest is, well, history.
Saturday 16 January
Viten Orsha (BLR) 3-5 Kairat Almaty (KAZ) (REPORT)
With a big lead in the first half, futsal giants Kairat secured the next round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League in a match against VITEN Orsha.
The Kazakh team got to a great start and by half-time already had a big 3-0 lead thanks to efforts by Valadares, Humberto, and Favero.
Inter FS (SPA) 6-2 Hovocubo (NED) (REPORT)
Without ever really being at real risk of getting knocked-out, Inter Movistar FS qualified for the UEFA Futsal Champions League Round of 16 with a 6-2 win against Dutch representatives Hovocubo.
Kherson (UKR) 5-1 Shkupi 1927 (MKD) (REPORT)
Ukrainian futsal champion Prodexim Kherson are through to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League. They secured their berth in the next round by winning against the North Macedonian representative FC Shkupi 1927.

AEK Futsal Club (GRE) 2-5 Aktobe (KAZ) (REPORT)
Greek champions AEK Athens hosted Kazakh representatives Aktobe in the UEFA Futsal Champions League Round of 32.
The visiting team took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to an effort by Dauletov who put Aktobe in front. However, in the next minute, AEK's Gousis scored and leveled the match. Teams went to half-time with 1-1 on the scoreboard.
Sporting CP (POR) 12-1 Futsal Gentofte (DEN) (REPORT)
2019 UEFA Futsal Champions League winners Sporting CP, hosted today a Round of 32 match against Danish side Gentofte. Gentofte was unable to stop the push of one of the best futsal teams in Europe who cruised to a huge 12-1 victory.
Record Bielsko-Biała (POL) 3-6 United Galati (ROU) (REPORT)
Polish champions Record Bielsko-Biała hosted the UEFA Futsal Champions League match in Round of 32 against the Romanian champions United Galati. They were unable to stop Daniel Araujo who was very much in the mood scoring five goals for United Galati and securing the next round of the Futsal Champions League!
Hohenstein-Ernstthal (GER) 0-2 Vytis (LTU) (REPORT)
German representatives in the UEFA Futsal Champions Leauge Hohenstein Ernstthal hosted a match of Round of 32 against Lithuanian champions Vytis.
After a goalless first half, teams offered a bit more excitement in the second half where Vytis proved its worth for Round of 16.

Omonia Nicosia (CYP) 0-2 Berettyóújfalu (HUN) (REPORT)
Berettyóújfalu defeated Omonia in Nicosia with 2:0 and progressed into the next round.
Lučenec (SVK) 1-7 KPRF (RUS) (REPORT)
Slovakian champions Lučenec hosted the last UEFA Futsal Champions League Final Four participants and leading Russian team KPRF in the Round of 32 match.
KPRF asserted its dominance from the start of the match and they did not let the foot off the gas pedal until the end of the match.
Luxol St. Andrews (MLT) 2-3 Dobovec (SLO) (REPORT)
Slovenian champion Dobovec qualified for the next round of the 2021/22 UEFA Futsal Champions League after a 3:2 win against Maltesian Luxol St. Andrews in Gzira. Luxol played surprisingly well, especially in the first half, after which they had a 2:1 lead. However, the Slovenian champion proved their quality and managed to win this tough match.
FC Salines (BiH) 2-5 Ugra Yugorsk (RUS) (REPORT)
Even though Salines Tuzla had 2:1 lead against Ugra Yugorsk Russian vice-champion eventually won 5:2 (with Kupatadze scored two decisive goals).

Olmissum (CRO) 4-1 Futsal Team Charleroi (BEL) (REPORT)
Croatian champion Olmissum defeated Charleroi from Belgium at home parquet 4:1 with Valerije Jurić and captain Stjepan Perišić scoring two goals each.
ACCS Asnières Villeneuve 92 (FRA) 2-2 (8:7) Pesaro (ITA) (REPORT)
The match between France champion ACCS Asnières-Sur-Seine and Italian champion Italservice Pesaro was announced as the most exciting match of Round of 32 of the Futsal Champions League.
The match proved expectations by all means.
ACCS eventually won after 1:1 in regular time, 2:2 after extra time, and 8:7 after the penalties.
Chrudim (CZE) 4-0 Differdange (LUX) (REPORT)
Chrudim (Czechia) expectedly defeated Differdange (Luxemburg) with 4:0 (with Droz brothers scoring three goals).
Futsal Minerva (SUI) 1-5 Benfica (POR) (REPORT)
Benfica (Portugal) defeated Futsal Minerva (Switzerland) with Arthur scoring two goals.
